Manchester City youngster Angelino has ended his short stay with Girona to spend the rest of the season with Mallorca.
The left back joined Girona at the end of December on a season-long loan deal which was anticipated would give the left back much-needed game time at a higher level, however, despite diplomatic compliments to the contrary by Girona officials, the club seems to have been unimpressed.
Angelino joined City from Deportivo La Coruña in 2013 and is highly rated at City as one for the future. He is yet to make his Premier League debut for the club, and his loan spell at Girona has many City fans sceptical regarding his ability to become a success.
The 20-year-old, whose full name is José Ángel Esmorís Tasende, made his first team debut for City in January 2016 and had spent a previous spell on loan at New York City in the MLS where he made 14 appearances.
