Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will travel to Manchester on Thursday to complete his move to Manchester City. This evening, Barcelona have accepted a bid in of €25million (£21million) from Pep Guardiola’s side as he looks to establish his playing style into the Manchester giants.
Catalan press tonight are reporting that the Chile international will now leave Spain this Thursday and fly to England to complete the move. The news comes as Guardiola controversially dropped City’s number one, Joe Hart, this weekend and it now looks likely he will be left out of City’s Champions League team tomorrow that will take on Steaua Bucharest.
Bravo looks set to sign a three-year deal with City and will earn approximately £70,000 a week. Txiki Begiristain failed in an attempt to lure Bravo’s team-mate Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to City this summer as Barcelona refused to sell the 24-year-old German international.
The future of Joe Hart is now looking bleak with 33-year-old Bravo set to take the number one jersey at the club.
