David Silva is now available and in contention to appear in tomorrow’s FA Cup third round tie against Burnley according to Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez.
‘El Mago’ trained just four hours after returning from Valencia where he has been alternating back and fourth due to his unfortunate circumstances surrounding his new-born son, Mateo.
UPDATE!We have finally good news. David Silva came back to Manchester surpresely today at midday and trained with the team at 4pm. He will be avalaible for tomorrow if Guardiola wants. That mean good things for the spanish player. https://t.co/e39UenhtDX

Originally, Alvarez reported that Silva would remain in Valencia for the game and return sometime next week. However, this update has since been reversed.
The fact that he keeps on returning during such circumstances is testament to his incredible professionalism and will only further his hero status in the eyes of Manchester City fans alike.
Silva will continue to switch between the Spanish city and Manchester until the situation is resolved, of course with manager Pep Guardiola’s blessings.
