It has recently been announced that Manchester City have signed AS Monaco player Bernardo Silva for a fee of £43million, and many believe City have over-spent for the Portugal international. Silva was phenomenal at Monaco last season as his performances prompted City to make a move for the playmaker.
Silva was an integral part of the Monaco team that claimed the Ligue 1 title and ended PSG’s domination in France’s top-flight.
The midfielder was announced as a Manchester City player before the opening of the transfer window and will see himself join the club on July 1st.
Since joining Monaco permanently in 2015, the 22-year-old has made 86 appearances for the club bagging himself 22 goals, in addition to pulling strings in midfield.
Ultimately, here’s why the little magician will be a success story at Manchester City.
