Brazil forward and new Manchester City player Gabriel Jesus has landed in Manchester as he looks set to join up with his new team-mates in the coming days. Jesus arrived at Manchester airport after flying from Sao Paolo to Paris before catching a connecting flight to Manchester early this morning.

The 19-year-old striker arrived at Manchester airport’s Terminal 3 before being met by a City liaison officer. Jesus will now undergo medical examinations before being determined fit enough to join his new side in their bid for success in January.

Jesus joined City following much speculation surrounding his future. The forward was linked with a move to Barcelona before Pep Guardiola personally called the young Brazilian international and convinced him his future in the European game lay in Manchester.

Fans excitement over the arrival of Jesus is evident, but the vast majority must allow him time to settle in before the best of Jesus is witnessed.
