Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has joined Serie A outfit Torino on a season long loan. Parent club City will pay more than 66% of Hart’s wages who was deemed to surplus to requirements.
Joe Hart has completed his surprise move from Manchester City and joined mid-table Serie A outfit Torino. Hart has left City after dropping down to third-choice goalkeeper since the arrival of Pep Guardiola as City’s manager.
The club were keen to find Hart a club and were not willing to allow the ten-year servant to sit on the City bench and rot as the club’s officials had too much respect for Hart.
ity wrote on their website: “A key figure in a golden age in the Club’s history, Joe has collected as many individual prizes as he has team honours in his decade at the Etihad Stadium.
“No goalkeeper has won more Premier League Golden Gloves titles than Joe’s four, he’s also been named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year twice and is well clear of more than a century of clean sheets for the Blues.”
The move has divided supporters with many not willing to accept the arrival of Claudio Bravo as a positive thing.
