Manchester City head into Sunday’s game against West Ham hoping to make it 13 consecutive Premier League wins.
Arsenal’s record of 14 wins in the league is in sight for City but will have to get past the Hammers before Manchester United next week to equal it.
The visitors to the Etihad Stadium haven’t won a game since the end of September when they beat Swansea at the London Stadium, whereas City haven’t lost all season, so both teams enter the game in quite contrasting form.
David Moyes was appointed as West Ham manager to replace Slaven Bilic in early November and hasn’t won a game since then. The Hammers were on the receiving end of a hammering at Goodison Park on Wednesday, losing 4-0, while City beat Southampton 2-1.
In last seasons meetings, City beat West Ham 3-1 at the Etihad earlier before the Blues made an easy job of the second game between the two teams, smashing the Hammers 4-0 at the London Stadium.
