Sergio Aguero’s suspension won’t be a big loss for Manchester City

So by now we all know that Sergio Aguero took out his frustrations on David Luiz with a late wild lunge that wouldn’t look out of place in a Sunday pub league match.  As a result, he has now been hit with a four-game ban over the busy festive period, which last season would of lead to a meltdown amongst many a blue but we are here to ask is it such a bad thing?

Aguero has already missed three games due to a early suspension for another red card vs West Ham and he was hardly missed with Kelechi Iheanacho stepping into his shoes and scoring goals in two out of the three games.

The outcome of those three games were three victories to City proving that Sergio Aguero may not be the talisman and key to City’s success a lot think. Not only did Manchester City win those three games but the games against Manchester United and Bournemouth, the match yielded our best performances in the league to date with Kelechi linking up with Sterling with devastating effect.

Although one of the greatest strikers ever to grace the Premier League (Aguero sits second in the top scorer’s charts), but two scrambled goals against Burnley aside the usually prolific Aguero has struggled to find the net in recent months.

Will Aguero be a huge miss over the next four games???

Will Kelechi step up to the plate with more goals ??

Will Guardiola use a false nine again??

Us Blues will wait with baited breath.
