Three things we learnt from Manchester City’s defeat to Chelsea

    Manchester City fell to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea on Saturday at lunch time. Despite going into halftime a goal ahead, through a Gary Cahill own goal, Chelsea’s resurgence in the second half and City’s lack of defensive structure in the back saw Chelsea score three goals in the final 30 minutes which allowed them to run away with all three points.

    The Blues suffered two red cards, and a miserable ending to the game which saw City go four points behind league-leaders Chelsea and the club must now make significant changes to ensure they can catch the West Londoners.

    However, there are three very critical and important things that we need to take away from this game, for us to be successful in the long run
