Manchester City will reopen their chequebooks this summer to try and continue Pep Guardiola’s revamp of the squad.

Despite spending large amounts of money last summer on the likes of Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan, and John Stones, City still require the adequate players to suit the Spaniard’s style of football.

There is still a significant amount of work that needs to be done to make City a force in European Football.

The priority next summer must be the full back’s especially with the contracts of Bacary Sagna, and Gael Clichy running out this summer, as well as the likes of Pablo Zabaleta and Aleksandar Kolarov, expected to leave.
