Several Manchester City stars are convinced that both Alexis Sanchez and Kyle Walker are set to join the Blues in the upcoming transfer window, The Mirror believe.
The North London stars would set City back around £100 million and have been heavily linked with moves to the Etihad Stadium throughout the last few weeks.
Sanchez is said to be unhappy with life under Arsene Wenger, and not having a UEFA Champions League place at Arsenal will further unsettle the Chilean.
Walker, meanwhile, has fallen out of favour at Spurs, often losing his right-back slot in the first team to Kieran Trippier in the final weeks of the season.
Sanchez is likely to be high on the wishlists of most City fans for this summer, having gained playing experience under Pep Guardiola at Barcelona. His diligent performances have seen him stand out in an otherwise lackadaisical Arsenal side.
Despite worries he may not fit into Pep Guardiola system, Walker received great praise over the last few seasons.
Spurs have conceded just 26 goals this campaign, compared to City’s 39, in part due to Walker’s success at right-back. Among concerns over both City’s full-back positions, and with the departure of Pablo Zabaleta confirmed, Walker might be the solution to the Blues’ defensive worries.
