Manchester City have agreed a new sponsorship deal with dating-application Tinder as the Premier League leaders continue their pursuit to grow economically.
Tinder is an application users can download and hopefully match up with people based upon their location. Users have the option to swipe right or left and should two users both swipe right on the other person’s profile, they are then able to chat with each other.
City’s commercial officer, Tom Glick had this to say on the clubs recent partnership. “Tinder is a huge global platform which, just like football, is bringing millions of people together every day all around the world. We believe this will be a perfect match for Tinder and for City.”
Tinder becomes another major sponsor for the Blues who use Etihad Airways and Nexen Tires as two of the club’s biggest sources of income. City’s rivals United were unable to negotiate a deal to bring Tinder to Old Trafford allowing City to move ahead of their Greater-Manchester rivals.
