Manchester City have announced two of their fixtures in May will be moved from their original date to facilitate for television broadcasting.

City’s final home game of the season against Huddersfield has been chosen for television and will be shown live on Sky Sports, while City’s re-arranged match with Brighton – initially scheduled for March 17th – will occur on Wednesday 9th May at 20.00.

Huddersfield will now visit the Etihad Stadium on May 6th at 13.30. The timing of the match has allowed a potential title parade to be displayed on the pitch should City claim their third Premier League title.

Usually, Sky Sports broadcast a 16.00 game, however, for the circumstances at the Etihad Stadium, Chelsea’s clash with Liverpool has been pushed back until 16.30 to allow for City’s expecting celebrations.

City still have to claim the Premier League title and can do so against bitter-rivals Manchester United this Saturday at 17.30.
