Manchester City have dominated the PFA Player of the Year nominations with three players nominated for the prestigious awards.
City have six players nominated for the Young Player of the Year and Player of the Year awards from a twelve-man shortlist which further highlights how City have dominated the Premier League season.
The Blues have David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sané all nominated for the Player of the Year award alongside David De Gea, Harry Kane and Mohamad Salah.
De Bruyne seemed likely to collect the honour before Mo Salah’s recent form appears to have swung momentum in the Liverpool forward’s favour.
German international Leroy Sané has been nominated for the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year in a season that has seen Sané become a regular starter for Guardiola’s City.
Raheem Sterling’s twenty-one goal haul has seen him nominated for the Young Player of the Year award with fellow team-mate Ederson, who has enjoyed a phenomenal debut season in England.
Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane and Ryan Sessegnon will also compete for the Young Player of the Year award.
The winners for each individual award will be announced on April 22nd.
