Manchester City pair Pep Guardiola and Raheem Sterling have been nominated for a variety of awards for their performances in the Premier League during the month of April.
Firstly, Sterling has been nominated for the Player of the Month award along with Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his performances throughout the month.
Sterling contributed with two goals and five assists during the month that saw City crowned Premier League champions for the third time. The 23-year-old has taken his goal tally to 23 for the season with 11 assists in all competitions.
Also, City boss Pep Guardiola has been nominated alongside West Brom’s Darren Moore, Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho and under-fire Everton boss Sam Allardyce for Manager of the Month. Guardiola masterminded the Blues’ three victories in four games throughout the month and is looking to claim his fifth individual award of the season.
City won three and lost one game during the month scoring 14 in the process and conceding 5 goals.
