Manchester City have offered Lazio €70million for Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
City are a number of clubs who have proposed €70million for the 23-year-old, report SportMediaset. Lazio are unwilling to sell their star midfielder who has registered eight goals and eleven assists this season.
Lazio President Claudio Lotito has ensured interested parties are aware they will not entertain offers for Milinkovic-Savic unless they reach the €150million mark.
Pep Guardiola is keen on signing a midfielder this summer with Yaya Toure departing the Blues when his contract expires on June 1st.
Napoli’s Jorginho has become the player most likely to join City should they decide to shop in Italy but the whispers at the Etihad Stadium place Julian Weigl at the top of Guardiola’s priorities.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the Lazio star in recent months and it remains to be seen whether City move for the Serbian international due to their reluctance to pay big money for one player.
