Over the past few months, Manchester City have raided Barcelona’s infamous La Masia academy to poach star players including the signing of Eric Garcia.
Now, the Blues are keen to return once again to Barcelona but this time for highly-sought after midfielder, Moriba Kourouma. The Sun believe Guardiola is hoping to conclude a deal for the 15-year-old dubbed the ‘new Yaya Toure’.
City’s bosses have established a deal to bring the giant midfielder to the Etihad Stadium next month when he turns 16, with the Spanish champions unable to prevent a move occurring, according to the report.
The midfielder moved to Barcelona aged 8-years-old from Guinea-Bissau and has gone through the ranks at La Masia to become one of the finest young footballers in the world at his age group.
City ‘insiders’ have plans to fast-track Kourouma to the first-team reports Nixon and his claims have recently been backed up by SPORT journalist, Albert Rogé.

Contrary to the report in The Sun, Rogé confirms the midfielder will join City but not until January 2019.
