Manchester City forward Olarenwaju Kayode has joined Ukranian champions Shakhtar Donetsk on a five-year contract.
The 25-year-old Nigerian striker joined Shakhtar on loan in March after a failed loan spell at sister-club FC Girona earlier in the season.

Kayode featured six times for the Ukrainian outfit and scored two goals for Paulo Fonseca’s side. Both parties have not disclosed a fee for the permanent transfer, but Shakhtar have confirmed the move is on a five-year deal.
Shakhtar have lost star forward Facundo Ferreyra to Benfica on a free transfer after the Portuguese forward ran down his contract at the club.
City signed Kayode from Austrian side Austria Wien for £3.5million in August 2017, and has made no appearances for the Blues; the Nigerian left Manchester as he can now play regular first-team football.
