Manchester City are keen to add another forward to their squad this summer with Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez on their wanted list.
City boss Pep Guardiola failed in an attempt to sign the 27-year-old in January after Leicester rejected three bids – with the highest believed to be worth £75million.
Mahrez is wanted again by Guardiola this summer, as per reporting in the Daily Mirror. City want to add another forward to their talented ranks with Mahrez capable of playing in a variety of positions across the front three.
Leicester have accepted their Algerian superstar will depart the King Power following speculation about his future since the Foxes’ Premier League title win in 2016.
Guardiola is keen on strengthening the depth of squad he has at his disposal as recently crowned champions City will be hopeful of retaining their title and make enormous strides in the Champions League next season.
City have also been rumoured to be monitoring Thomas Lemar and Eden Hazard, with the latter believed to be a dream rather than reality.
