Manchester City recently unveiled their expansion plans for their tunnel club. The experience will allow supporters the chance to watch the team before and during the game from a close tunnel view added with fine dining and a chauffeur service.

The cost doesn’t come cheap as the club are starting the pricing at £7,500 per season for any interested parties. City are apparently targeting a particular market, and the average supporter won’t be wanted to attend from this viewpoint. Corporate clients and business executives are being targeted with the hope of luring their potential buyers in with a rich match-day experience.

City fans have already been impacted by the development, with many having their entrance options to the stadium slashed in two due to the emergence of a wall in the concourse, increasing the number of queues into the stadium.

Tunnel Club is a model that has been replicated from the success of NFL franchise the Dallas Cowboys.
