Yaya Toure has donated £100,000 to victims of the explosion that occurred at the Manchester Arena last night. The Ivorian and his agent want to support the affected families after 22 people were killed at a concert.
After the horrific news arose, several City players, Yaya included, were quick to express their concerns over social media. The official accounts of both City and United, as well as hundreds of clubs and players worldwide also made it clear their thoughts were with the victims.

Toure, however, has gone the extra mile – having donated £100,000 to various affected families. He and his agent Dimitri Seluk have contributed to what is an amazing response from the whole of Manchester.
It emerged today that Pep Guardiola’s wife and two daughters attended the concert, but thankfully were unharmed. Christina Serra, his wife, as well as daughters Maria and Valentina were watching American singer Ariana Grande last night.
The Etihad stadium is also being used as an emergency help centre for affected members of the public and for Greater Manchester Police.
